A friend needed a practice walk for their charity marathon walk. I suggested we walk from Dolgellau to Machynlleth following part of the National Cycle Route 8 (Lon Las Cymru) and use footpaths when we could. We started at 0930 and finished 1630 with lots of snack breaks. We caught the T2 bus back to Dolgellau.
